Christmas Lights

Season’s Greetings, Everyone!

Have you had an opportunity to enjoy the Christmas lights during this holiday season?  I was thinking today how we never go look at the lights during the daytime.  Why?  Because the lights are at their best and most spectacular in the dark of night.

As we come to the close of 2015, we have had many reminders that our world is a dark place, and getting darker.  Our Savior was born in a world like ours, dark and hopeless.  He came to be, and give, Light and Hope.  He showed us the love of the Father as He lived, served and loved others with deep compassion, full of grace and truth.  As we celebrate His birth as well as His life, may we live, serve, and share His love with with grace and truth to those God places in our paths–and be lights shining in our dark world.
